Wind farm studies begin

Green Wind Renewables has increased its presence in the Shire of West Arthur region as work has begun on the feasibility and approval studies for the Ambrosia Wind Farm. As the project enters the next phase of evaluating site suitability, constraints, and potential impacts, engagement with neighbours and the broader West Arthur community will continue to grow.

Director of Development Adam West, and Community Relations Co-ordinator Sarah Carlin, along with a number of Green Wind Renewables colleagues and contractors will continue to frequently visit the area. Meeting with neighbouring property owners, local council, and the broader community in the coming months will continue to be a priority for the team. “This is only the beginning of a long-term relationship between Green Wind Renewables and the community of Shire of West Arthur” states Sarah, “we want to ensure that everyone is aware of who we are and feels comfortable to come and speak to us about the Ambrosia Wind Farm.”

Recently, contractors have been visiting the site to start ecological surveys. These surveys help determine the condition and potential significance of flora and fauna, which will inform the areas for targeted spring surveys later this year.
