Building the Wheatbelt’s Renewable Energy Supply Chain

The Wheatbelt is rapidly becoming a hub for renewable energy, with major wind and solar projects driving new opportunities for local businesses.

To ensure communities across the region can benefit from this investment, the Wheatbelt Development Commission (WDC) is working alongside renewable energy developers – including Green Wind Renewables – to strengthen local participation in project supply chains.

Opportunities for Local Businesses
Businesses of all types are encouraged to register their interest, with demand expected across a wide range of services including accommodation, catering, logistics, concrete, plant and equipment hire, fencing, fuel supply, water supply, and fabrication.

This is an open invitation to Wheatbelt businesses – whether you are an established contractor or a small operator – to get involved in the clean energy transition.

Employment Pathways
Alongside supply chain opportunities, the program also supports individuals seeking direct employment. The WDC is working with employment and training providers to connect job seekers with upcoming renewable energy roles.
