Green Wind Renewables were thrilled to attend the Shire of West Arthur’s Wind Farm Community Consultation event that took place on Wednesday 6th November 2024. The event was well represented by the community, and it was great to hear the many questions and views the community had surrounding the wind farms proposed for the region. A big thank you to the Shire of West Arthur for creating such a well organised event that allowed industry, government, and the community to come together. The format of the evening supported a mix of information sharing and the opportunity for the community to ask lots of questions.
The following day, Green Wind Renewables held a community drop-in session at the Darkan CRC in the morning, with another session held at the Moodiarrup Sports Complex in the afternoon. These sessions allowed community members to drop in and speak with the Green Wind Renewables team about the Ambrosia Wind Farm. The sessions were well attended with community members dropping in to find out more information or simply to say hello. Further sessions are planned to be held in February 2025 with announcements to be provided via the Bleat, on the Ambrosia Wind Farm website, and on our Facebook page closer to the date.
